Doctor Cole has lectured and presented research in the United States and abroad at several veterinary colloquiums.ĭoctor Coles’s clinical interests include congenital heart disease, interventional cardiology, pacemaker therapy, valvular and myocardial diseases, and pericardial disease as well as cardiac emergencies and intensive care. Since that time, Doctor Cole has authored and co-authored scientific papers and textbooks in both Cardiology and Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Doctor Cole remained at the University of Pennsylvania to lecture in Emergency and Critical Care and to pursue a second three year residency in Cardiology.ĭoctor Cole completed the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care board examinations in 2003 and in 2007 obtained board certification in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Cardiology. Doctor Cole has practiced Cardiology on both the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts.Īfter graduating from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, Doctor Cole completed a Medical and Surgical rotating Internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York, followed by a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania.
